Ben leads The Barton Partnership’s Paris office having spent over 10 years in consulting and energy industry roles in Europe and North America. He has also been involved in start-ups including in the independent consulting market, and is currently an advisor to a range of clients across France and internationally.
After his engineering master’s at Bristol University in the UK, Ben started his career in the US for 6 years with BP and Schlumberger at Princeton focusing on pushing the frontier of Cleantech risk analysis and innovation. He then worked across EMEA at the Boston Consulting Group and Schlumberger Business Consulting in a wide range of industries.
Ben then co-founded and ran a first tech start-up in Paris, specialized in optimizing perishable inventory in the airline industry before going on to sell and execute independent strategy consulting and energy expertise projects. Ben then became a partner and co-founder at a second start-up focused on independent consulting in France.
Ben's focus is to support our clients in France across TBP's entire value proposition by leveraging his management consulting firm and independent experiences to provide oversight for these projects and ensure high-quality delivery.
In addition, Ben has always dedicated his time to impact-driven projects and organisations, including 2 years at a non-profit advocacy in Brussels around climate negotiations, global non-profit consulting projects and mentoring to local groups/organisations. In his spare time Ben enjoys spending time with his young daughter and enjoys sports, playing music and motorcycle rides in the country.
