Melissa Chester

​Melissa is a Vice President on our North America team, partnering with private equity sponsors and portfolio company leaders to deliver integrated talent and consulting solutions across Executive Search and Independent Consulting. She focuses on Strategy & Transformation and Value Creation mandates, helping clients stand up high-impact teams through carve-outs, integrations, operating model changes, and accelerated growth initiatives.

Before joining The Barton Partnership, Melissa led strategic account relationships for enterprise clients across North America, including large private equity platforms across fund level activities and portfolio operations, with a track record of mobilising specialist talent through periods of change. She holds a degree in Economics from Tufts University and is based in Chicago.
