Donna Kennedy

​Donna joined The Barton Partnership in 2023 as Head of People.

Donna has over 14 years of multi-sector experience, with extensive change and transformation experience, including M&A, gained during her time as HR Director for a leading consulting and technology business.

Donna’s expertise includes strategic HR, cultural and business change and transformation, organisation design and development, learning and development and internal communications. Donna’s approach to business and people development is grounded in a humanistic / people-centred approach and influenced by the belief that a strong employee experience leads to positive customer experience - ex=cx. Donna is passionate about diversity, inclusion and belonging and is an advocate for disability accessibility in the workplace.

Donna is a prolific lifelong learner, having gained numerous HR, OD and L&D qualifications, including an advanced CIPD Diploma and a Masters degree in Human Resource Management, as well as formal adult education and training qualifications. Outside of work, Donna loves to keep active, with yoga, swimming and learning to sail top of the list, and spending time with her children and large extended family.
