Greg finished his degree at Oxford Brookes with a BA in International Relations. He moved to London to work in a Governmental Organisation supporting trade between UK SME’s and the ASEAN markets. After a year and a half in this role, he decided he wanted to work in a faster paced and more commercial role that would give him greater insights into a wider business.

Greg joined the Barton Partnership in September 2014, starting off in the Research function supporting the Commerce and Industry division. After a successful year supporting a broad range of projects, Greg was promoted to head up the TMT function, looking at connecting Strategic and M&A talent with clients in Industry. As a side focus, Greg also looks after Education, Social Enterprise and International Development.

Greg’s main passion is cooking, where he runs a food blog and does yearly cooking trips to locations such as Cannes, Scotland and Iceland. He loves to play sports having been a member of the Hockey Committee at University, a keen golfer at the weekends and plays rugby in the week.

“I moved in to the recruitment industry because I wanted to work in a fast paced, commercial environment where I could build myself a career. The Barton Partnership offered exactly this, a close team who work collaboratively under a number of strong values that personally I believe in. I strongly believe that the success of the company is down to the culture that has been built over the past 8 years, driving us to work hard and develop over the years.”
