Our Client is a Global PE backed Software business that is going through a significant transformation period. The company designs enterprise software and delivers this service to individuals and businesses in the professional services, education, public sector and non-profit sectors. This is a newly created position at Group level that has come about due to the continued growth of the company.
The Group Chief of staff position will initially report directly to the CEO and eventually lead into reporting to the shareholders. This is a key role to the growth of the business and will offer a seat at the top table with influence and access to Board and C-Suite. The successful candidate will be required to learn and understand the business data from the top in order to be able to play a role in driving the eventual exit in 2-2.5 years.
This is a broad role that can be split into two key functions. This first is focussed on Group level perspective; costs, budgets, Strategy & planning, involving content and analytics. Analysing annual reports to identify the positives and negatives with an idea of how to adapt in the future. Work closely with CEO, CSO, CFO, Board and Shareholder offices as an intelligent challenge and sense check.
The second part of the role is regionally focussed. Working closely and participating in management meetings, directing and intelligently challenging the status quo. Regionally challenge certain functional areas; CRM, Sales addressing where improvements can be made.
Currently A+ MBB candidate at Manager level.
Must have appropriate level of Gravitas to sit in on Board meetings and be able to Challenge
Sharp and dynamic.
Exceptional interpersonal skill set in order to engage and work with people at all levels of the business.
