Independent Consulting Role Overview
Our client in the financial services sector is experiencing rapid growth and embarking on a significant technology and digital transformation journey to support accelerated growth and operational scalability.
They are seeking an experienced Technology Transformation Leader in a contract role to build the business case and get key stakeholder buy in for this IT transformation program. This role will focus on reviewing current enterprise systems, implementing scalable digital platforms, strengthening cybersecurity / regulatory compliance, and supporting future growth.
The successful candidate will be ahighly credible technology leader with strong transformation and change management experience, capable of operating at both strategic and operational levels. This individual will partner closely with executive leadership to reshape the company’s technology landscape .
Key Responsibilities
1) Technology Strategy & Transformation
  • Develop and execute a global IT and digital transformation strategy aligned with the company’s business objectives and growth plans.
  • Lead a comprehensive technology transformation programacross enterprise applications, infrastructure, data, and cybersecurity.
  • Partner with executive leadership and business units to translate business priorities into technology roadmaps and investment plans.
  • Define and implement an optimized IT operating model, governance structure, and transformation roadmap.
  • Drive organizational change and stakeholder alignment to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.
2) ERP & Enterprise Systems Diagnostic
  • Lead the diagnostic of current ERP and core enterprise platforms, ensuring future scalability and operational efficiency.
  • Drive adoption of cloud platforms, SaaS applications, and data analytics capabilities to enable digital innovation and improved decision-making.
  • Establish enterprise architecture standards to simplify and standardize systems globally.
3) Cybersecurity & IT Operations
  • Ensure stability, resilience, and scalability of the company’s global IT infrastructure and core systems.
  • Strengthen the organization’s cybersecurity posture and risk management frameworks.
  • Oversee global IT vendor relationships, contracts, and outsourcing partners to optimize performance and cost.
Candidate Profile
  • 15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including senior roles such as CIO, CTO, or Head of Technology.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale digital and technology transformation programs in complex global organizations.
  • Experience in financial services industry, insurance, or related industries is advantageous.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior executives and operate in high-performance environments.
