The sponsor is looking to bring in interim horsepower rather than make a permanent hire right now, with the focus on solving very specific commercial and scaling challenges quickly.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Strong renewable energy background, with direct exposure to:
Utility-scale renewables
Distributed generation (DG)
Solar/renewables markets (NY/Toronto context)
Prior Value Creation Plan experience is critical.
Needs to already understand how these businesses fit into the market
Experience level:
Senior enough to know what’s going on (JP-level or just below)
Operator experience post-consulting strongly preferred
PE experience important
Logistics & Location
Location preference is NYC or Toronto (flexible if the right person).
Expected to be in-office most days per week (treated like a VCP/internal resource).
Travel requirements:
Toronto every second week for 1–2 days
NYC on occasion
Timing & Duration
Immediate start (ASAP)
Full-time: ~5 days/week
Initial duration ~3 months, potentially longer
