The opportunity
Join a top-tier commercial due diligence advisory team supporting private equity and corporate investors. You will step in as a workstream lead on fast-paced CDD and VDD engagements, partnering with experienced managers and directors to deliver decision-grade insights under tight timelines.
What you will do
As a workstream lead, you will own one or more of the following:
Primary research (phone program)
Build outreach lists and identify the right experts (customers, non-customers, competitors, industry specialists)
Design interview guides that tie directly to the diligence hypotheses
Conduct interviews and manage junior team members supporting call execution
Synthesize insights into clear takeaways and implications for the diligence storyline
Web survey design and field management
Draft surveys to answer key diligence questions and define sampling strategy
Manage vendors and fieldwork, including screeners, quotas, and quality controls
Create an analysis plan, define cuts/segments, and direct supporting analytics resources
Translate results into concise, decision-relevant conclusions
Market sizing and modeling
Build and maintain robust, client-ready Excel models (multi-tab, formula-driven workbooks)
Integrate secondary and primary research inputs into assumptions and outputs
Align model design with the diligence story and the decisions the client needs to make
Summarize model outputs clearly in PowerPoint
Communication and storybuilding
Convert findings into crisp slides and structured narratives
Present workstream updates confidently in team working sessions

You ramp quickly with minimal training and drive your workstream end-to-end
You are a strong thought partner, not a solo executor
