I am working with one of the major UK based banks currently undergoing a period of significant growth. They are looking to build out their Group Strategy function to handle the next wave of growth such as open banking and the future of digital banking.
This well-established team directly supports the Group CEO in the development and advancement of the bank’s strategic agenda and related projects. In this role, you’ll have regular engagement with the executive leadership team as well as working close with the head of the different business units.
This is a new role in a growing team and you will be reporting directly to the Head of Strategy with line management responsibility for Managers and Associates in the team.
You will have great exposure and an overview across the whole bank, helping you decide where you want to take your next step out into the wider business and on towards P&L responsibility.
You will have several years of strategy experience, either in a strategy consulting firm or with a strategy team of a major financial services firm.
Excellent understanding of the financial services sector in general and the UK Banking sector in particular.
Excellent senior stakeholder engagement experience.
Excellent communications skills.
