In 2017 The Barton Partnership launched its “Research Academy” – a framework created to guide graduates through the first stage of their career here as a Research Consultant. In order to give you a holistic view of our sectors, industries and specialisms, we don’t sit you with just one team but rather you will work on a project basis, assisting on searches with different teams within the business allowing you to gain insights into different areas, and ultimately decide which area you will thrive in when it’s your turn to become a Consultant.
Graduates joining us are provided with an in-depth 3-month induction plan designed to set you on the path to accomplish your goals and objectives and to ensure you are well on your way to becoming a successful member of The Barton Partnership team. The Induction programme is a combination of on-desk training as well as in-house workshops with senior members of the business giving you the opportunity to learn from your peers and get to know your team along the way.

The Research Consultant plays a critical role in the business, building relationships and delivering on high profile searches, whilst also gaining the knowledge and experience required to have a successful career as an executive recruiter.
We are looking for hard working, down to earth graduates with an excellent ability to build relationships and gain trust. We offer a fantastic platform to progress through the business with strong earning potential, so individuals with a commercial mindset and a strong drive to succeed will take full advantage.
Candidates will have graduated with a 2.1 or higher and should be able to demonstrate the preferred key traits through their previous work experience, whether that’s part time throughout education or other employment.
