Our client is a multi-national mining company that produces diamonds, copper, nickel, iron ore, platinum, and coal. They created a Digital Hive in 2018 to identify the commercial needs of the marketing business unit (BU) and develop innovative products and initiatives that deliver returns. The team has a mandate to enhance innovation and agility in the business.
Work closely with the Lead - Digital and Innovation, commodity marketing teams, developers, data scientists and other stakeholders to identify, develop and implement digital initiatives to optimize commercial performance
Support the rollout of new ways of working to commodity marketing teams and functions, to enable innovation and agility within the Marketing BU
Play a leading role in sponsoring and developing the digital community within the Marketing BU
Market Analytics and Intelligence - leverages market information to develop strategies and opportunities that create value for the business.
Good understanding of digital technologies and applications plus domain knowledge of commodities covering trading, operations, risk management and financial accounting
Competent across the range of tools and frameworks of strategic and financial analysis and project management, experience of agile project management practices and management of multi-disciplinary, geographically diverse teams
Knowledge of enterprise architecture and governance global practice system design, deployment, and management as well as experience of IM delivery and risk management
Stakeholder engagement to enable alignment with stakeholders
