My client is a market leader and household name within the soft drinks sector, currently recruiting due to internal progression within the firm. The role of Associate Director offers high visibility and interaction with the global executive team, with similar progression into the wider business expected. The role covers high-level strategy through to the implementation of critically important projects, to both the UK and international development of the company.
The Associate Director will primarily be tasked with defining the strategic planning model for the long-term direction of the company. Other projects will include defining the mid-term revenue and profit ambitions, analysing market and category outlook, and shaping the operating model to ensure delivery of these plans. The Associate Director, will largely report into the VP of Corporate Strategy (ex-BCG), who reports into the CSO, with the incumbent (also ex-BCG) stepping into a Director level role.
Additional accountabilities will include-
-Leading the development of the enterprise level Long Range Plan
-Gather and maintaining external market strategic insights
-Integration of go to market models across the Western European geography
-Dealing with adhoc strategic projects
-Strong academic background, preferably with MBA skills/ knowledge.
-Good experience in top-tier strategy consultancy or niche equivalent.
-Commercial experience outside consulting is preferable.
-Demonstrable experience in people management and leadership.
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
-Good experience communicating to demanding senior audiences.
-Language skills and international experience are an advantage.
