ROLE:
·       Lead and support the firm’s strategic agenda, including
  • Drive inorganic and major partnership projects
  • Development of our growth strategies, including portfolio level strategy, country deep-dives and new market entries
  • Optimising our shareholding arrangements
  • Group defence activities
·       Lead and manage inorganic projects - target screening, due diligence, valuation, and communications with stakeholders for buy-in and approval
·       Optimising our shareholding arrangements. Support senior management to resolve issues on a shareholder level for our JVs and business units
·       Lead and support engagement with key Exco members and local business unit leaders to develop and articulate our strategic growth agenda
·       Build and maintain relationships with key external advisers and networks. Obtain intelligence about market trends, ideas and competitive moves
 
REQUIREMENTS:
·       Over 15 years’ work experience
·       Deep experience and track record in managing M&As and major partnership agreements
·       Strong commercial acumen and strategic assessment skills
·       Strong experience in managing and working with various advisers including investment bankers, accounting/tax firms, actuarial firms and legal firms
·       Knowledge about the market landscape
