We are currently working with a multibillion-dollar international logistics company committed to digitally transforming their business. They have created a new position for a Digital Strategy Lead to ideate and manage large scale, complex, multi-year internal technology initiatives from strategy through execution to drive value for the firm.
Responsibilities include:
  • Engage stakeholders and leaders across the enterprise to work closely with them to understand the digital requirements of the business at group-, functional- and regional-level
  • Look externally to the market to determine best practices and areas for improvement
  • Lead the definition of the Digital strategy, connecting the dots between local ideas and initiatives and the enterprise-wide opportunity to ensure prioritization is aligned globally
  • Ensure digital strategy is linked with group strategy and transformation agenda
  • Lead the identification, ideation, iteration and prioritization of key strategic digital initiatives – creating the case for change as a part of wider strategic aspirations, aligned to the value drivers of the organization.
  • Work with Product Managers to ensure their strategic plans are linked to the wider digital strategy
  • Make decisions re go/no-go and prioritization of work and budget, ensuring alignment to digital strategy, business needs and overall business strategy
  • Manage the Digital strategy planning process - 3 Year Planning Process, Strategy Reviews, Board preparation materials and related Executive Leadership Team (ELT) sessions 
Requirements and Personal Qualifications:
  • Experience of managing a portfolio of programs and initiatives.
  • Consulting experience, preferably at one of the ‘big 4’ and preferably technology related
  • Completing market assessments, needs definitions, value propositions and business cases.
  • Creating and delivering solutions and a portfolio of initiatives from identification of business need to implementation and benefits realization
  • New product development experience
  • Experience of managing a portfolio of programs and initiatives.
  • Experience of innovation management and technology solutions
  • Proven success in delivering new services, products and business models, preferably digital or data related.
  • Demonstrative results in improving the customer experience, process transformation and business development
  • Extremely advanced analytical skills and technical comprehension of digital devices will be required for this position as well as strong business acumen and strong management skills.
  • Master’s Degree or equivalent globally
  • PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification
