VP of Corporate Development
As the VP of Corporate Development, you'll be a key leader in the Corporate Development team and will drive the identification, evaluation, and execution of selected strategic activities including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and minority interest investments across the world. In addition, you will mentor and coach Corporate Development Directors and Managers.

The Corporate Development team is responsible for the support in transaction execution for acquisitions and divestiture projects and is deeply involved in launching into action, strategic M&A initiatives globally. A highly active unit, with significant resources, we use industry insights and market research to build pipelines that directly impact the strategic direction the business.

  • Influencing and supporting the Corporate Development team in the co-ordination, due-diligence, and contract negotiation of live projects
  • Supporting and influencing transaction execution for acquisitions and divestiture projects
  • Conducting and coordinating the preparation of internal M&A approval materials for potential transactions and other internal projects
  • Owning industry insights and landscape research to build pipelines of potential acquisitions, investments, and/or strategic partnerships
  • Working closely with the product team and internal partners to understand the major pivotal initiatives for the business
  • Identifying gaps needed to be supplemented with corporate development activities
Skills, know-how and experience
  • Experience in corporate development, investment banking or private equity
  • Significant M&A software transaction execution experience including leading due diligence
  • Understanding key business drivers relevant to a software/technology business
  • Able to work optimally with a wide range of people with cultural sensitivity
  • Creative self-starter who takes initiative
