Whether it be to help organisations prevent identity theft or money laundering, they stand by their mission to provide necessary insights to advance and protect people, industry and society.  Their tight knit, fast paced team who lead the strategic directions for the country’s operations, business development and M&A activity across this division are looking to hire at either the Manager or Senior Manager level. This individual will be a key member of the team supporting the Strategy and Business Development team members with complex consulting-style analytical projects.  

ROLE:

This individual will be responsible for determining and executing on organic and non-organic growth opportunities for our client’s Risk solutions business. This high level position has responsibility spanning across strategic planning, business development and M&A functions. This individual will take control of managing the annual strategic planning process, developing and analysing strategy, collaborating and communicating with multiple functional areas and applying the most suitable practices of project management.

Projects will be highly visible to the CEO, Senior Vice Presidents, corporate officers and Board members of the company. All phases of complex projects will be managed by this individual, from concept to delivery. In addition, the Manager/Senior Manager will make sure communication is maintained across all senior leadership and they are aware of issues and progress.

Strategy initiatives include but are not limited to: analysis, customer, competitive and industry research, synthesis and packaging of findings. Projects will rotate through company business units, allowing this individual to learn the Risk Solutions as a whole. The first half of each year will be focused on the strategy process while the second half will focus on a mix of strategy, acquisitions, investor relations deliverables and projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

-BA / BS degree required with relevant coursework. A MBA or equivalent degree from a top-tier university is preferred.

-7 years experience in corporate strategy, product planning, corporate mergers & acquisitions; or 5 years prior experience, including 3 years experience in a M&A advisory firm or corporate development/strategy function/strategic consulting.

-Strong problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to summarize information is a must.

-Past deal experience relating to M&A deal structuring, due diligence, financial modelling and negotiation practices.

-Preferred experience in management consulting on investment banking is preferred.

-Strong proactive communication skills with the ability to present and articulate findings effectively to various organizational levels and functions.

-Strong work ethic (takes ownership), self-starter and quick-study mentality; ability to work independently yet also lead and inspire large cross-functional teams.

-Professional business acumen and judgement.

-Advanced research and analytical skills and possess the ability to incorporate the most suitable practices and innovation into project recommendations.

-Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with C-level executives and other senior leaders of the company.

-Self  motivated with an professional business etiquette. 

-Advanced skillset in MS Office, especially Excel and Powerpoint.

-Able to demonstrate professionalism in a corporate environment.
