Our client is one of the largest digital marketplaces in the UK with over 16 million monthly users carrying out over 160 million searches. They are a FTSE100 company and currently looking to build out their strategy function, having recently hired a new Head of Strategy.
The client is looking for an ex-consultant to join their Strategy team, and influence the strategic direction of this rapidly growing business. This is a highly strategic role, working closely with C-suite, with direct impact on strategy and product development. As such, you’ll be at the forefront of an industry, influencing the future of the sector and the digital shift. You will be focussing on a number of key areas including, but not limited to; growth strategy, stakeholder engagement, building the company’s position as a thought leader that influences the industry and networking across the organisation and with our customers or partners to understand what their needs for research and advice are. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Strategy and will get substantial exposure to C-suite.
The client is looking for an individual with previous experience within strategy consulting or in a corporate strategy role driving action orientated insight through research and analysis. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will have the below skillset:
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent interpersonal, and written and oral communication skills
- A collaborative, structured and highly organised way of working who are comfortable working in a small (2-3 person) core team
- An analytical and creative approach to problem solving with ability to think around problems and piece information together
- Experience in driving insight from a range of research including; specifying and managing consumer and B2B surveys, qualitative research
