The Senior Business Consultant will be part of a team who are responsible for defining, planning, and mobilising the bank’s most complex and strategically significant projects and programs. The team is engaged directly by the bank’s executive leadership to work across a wide set of challenges, ranging from defining and building innovative new products and business models through to mobilising multi-million dollar programs across 40+ countries. The Senior Business Consultant’s role is to act as the engagement lead, interfacing into senior executives and taking responsibility for delivering high quality outcomes for the bank.

 

ROLE:

The role would entail leading complex projects by managing across departments and countries, using critical thinking to challenge the status-quo to deliver the right solutions for the bank, understanding market changes to develop a business plan and create a compelling vision, building new operating models, and bringing rigour to the delivery process.

As Senior Business Consultant, you will play a management role which will be key in helping the team maintain a global perspective on business transformation and consulting efforts. You will work relatively independently and have the gravitas and acumen to consult with business management.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

-Be knowledgeable of the external working environment including: main banking competitors; innovation and technologies; regulatory environment; key events in world/local news that could impact the company; global economy.

-Have the expertise to design solutions that comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

-Be able to demonstrate strong business knowledge and business sense.

-6-10 years of experience working in business consulting/industry experience in large complex organizations.

-Overall Financial Services knowledge with specific functional expertise ideal.

-Experience with effectively leading teams.

-Demonstrated experience in change and business transformation.

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills and with experience in presenting to business stakeholders.

-Problem solving and analysis skills.
