Our client continues to assess and evolve its business result through organic growth and acquisitions. They are seeking a business integration leader to lead, manage, and oversee business integration, and acquisition projects.

As a key member of our client, the Head of Integration will be critical in leading and driving cross-functional effort around system implementation and harmonization, process alignment, and driving efficiencies and revenue synergies across technology, operations and HR. He/ She is responsible for all pre and post deal M&A integration activity, as well as ensuring that historic acquisitions have been fully integrated into the business successfully.

Working closely with a wide range of functions, stakeholders and business leaders, the DOI must be a strong communicator with highly collaborative skills and solid project management experience in driving projects and process excellence in a high matrix and dynamic organization.

ROLE: 

Accelerate the Process and Results

- Support the C- Suite to undertake commercial and strategic due diligence as part of any potential acquisition, ensuring that the correct functional involvement is fully considered and governed

- Work closely with different functions and develop the overall commercial and operational integration plan, and budget, to ensure that all strategic and financial objectives and risk are understood and monitored

- Assess functional capabilities and build comprehensive integration plans, including defining the vision or “end-state” results, developing the economic baseline model, creating the operational plan, and driving value creation execution plans

- Map out and coordinate business and system activities with cross functional teams

- Coordinate with Commercial team to build and develop sales channels, track channel effectiveness and manage sales performance

- Lead strategic and operational analysis related to functional integration and performance improvement

- Responsible for implementing best practice and a more effective approach to integration 

Manage the Execution

- Serve as the principal day-to-day point of contact for all things related to integration

- Establish the overall integration process design, mechanics and protocols to be followed by all participants and executives

- Drive execution against operational plans for each functional integration, working with broader teams to ensure execution moves forward according to plan

- Collaborate with business partners to solve problems that arise along the way

- Continuously provide focus and direction on what matters most, and search for best practices or potential disconnects that could destroy value or create risk

- Help the executive team to manage the pace and momentum of the integration. Push for timely decisions on key issues and provide true accountability for action items and deadlines

- Support acquired management team to prioritise work streams and navigate the Group operating model

- Track, report and ensure progress against operational and financial milestones

Drive the change

- Be a change champion and ensure change management and communication plans are well thought through as part of project management

- Manage and coordinate ongoing end-to-end change management plans for functional integration, ensuring that culture/ people integration is a primary part of success

- Work with the broader team to identify and develop long-lasting capabilities that will make each functional integration faster and more effective, e.g. identifying new tools/ technologies, new processes, etc

- Communicate key decisions, risks, and critical path items to stakeholders at both country and Group Office levels

- Directly and principally involve in the subject matter of major issues so that he/she helps manage the “white space” and dependencies by identifying issues, and then coordinating and communicating resolutions to all involved

REQUIREMENTS: 

EXPERIENCE

- Extensive leadership experience in commercials, especially cross border transactions in service or financial institutions

- Business integration experience is essential, either in-house or from a consultancy firm

- Experience of leading business transformation programmes

- Proven experience of working in a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders

- Proven financial/ budget control experience

- Relevant working experience in Asia or working with Asian partners. 

- Proven record of good understanding of different cultures

- Good communication skills, able to influence key stakeholders across contexts and roles, and drive change

- Effective project management skills with a strong execution mindset

- Strong problem solving and creative skills. Able to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses

LANGUAGE

- Good command of both written and spoken English, Chinese(Mandarin) would be a plus

- High level of integrity and dependability

- Have a high-level of comfort working in an agile environment
