This is a fast-growing supply chain spinoff serving the data centre industry, with operations spanning Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and China, and expansion plans underway in the United States. To meet the demands of a fast-growing business, they are seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead and strengthen the organization through this next phase of growth.
Responsibilities:
  • Report to the Group CEO, progressively growing and scaling Finance team
  • Lead and oversee finance operations across Singapore, China, and future U.S. operations, ensuring full compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and cross-border reporting requirements.
  • Develop and maintain robust financial control frameworks, reporting structures, and consolidation processes for multi-jurisdictional operations.
  • Drive global financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to support strategic objectives and business sustainability.
  • Manage audits, statutory filings, and liaise with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and tax authorities to ensure full compliance.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on business planning, funding strategies, and capital allocation to support growth and expansion.
  • Build, manage, and develop a high-performing finance team across geographies; lead recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Implement scalable financial systems, tools, and processes that enhance transparency, accuracy, and efficiency across global operations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; strong preference for a Qualified Accountant
  • A minimum of 16 years of progressive finance experience, including 5+ years in a senior position within a multinational or fast-scaling company.
  • Deep knowledge of international financial reporting standards (IFRS, US GAAP), tax planning, and compliance in multi-jurisdictional settings.
  • Proven experience in managing cross-border finance operations (e.g., China, Southeast Asia, U.S.).
  • Strong leadership and team-building capabilities with experience managing finance teams across multiple regions.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
