This is a fast-growing supply chain spinoff serving the data centre industry, with operations spanning Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and China, and expansion plans underway in the United States. To meet the demands of a fast-growing business, they are seeking an experienced Finance Director to lead and strengthen the organization through this next phase of growth.
Responsibilities:
Report to the Group CEO, progressively growing and scaling Finance team
Lead and oversee finance operations across Singapore, China, and future U.S. operations, ensuring full compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and cross-border reporting requirements.
Develop and maintain robust financial control frameworks, reporting structures, and consolidation processes for multi-jurisdictional operations.
Drive global financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management to support strategic objectives and business sustainability.
Manage audits, statutory filings, and liaise with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and tax authorities to ensure full compliance.
Collaborate with executive leadership on business planning, funding strategies, and capital allocation to support growth and expansion.
Build, manage, and develop a high-performing finance team across geographies; lead recruitment, training, and performance management.
Implement scalable financial systems, tools, and processes that enhance transparency, accuracy, and efficiency across global operations.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; strong preference for a Qualified Accountant
A minimum of 16 years of progressive finance experience, including 5+ years in a senior position within a multinational or fast-scaling company.
Deep knowledge of international financial reporting standards (IFRS, US GAAP), tax planning, and compliance in multi-jurisdictional settings.
Proven experience in managing cross-border finance operations (e.g., China, Southeast Asia, U.S.).
Strong leadership and team-building capabilities with experience managing finance teams across multiple regions.
Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese
Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
