ROLE:
The new CTO/TD will be responsible for managing a rapid and sustainable transformation in a dynamic PE-backed business with a new management team and mandate for change. Key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the delivery of a full-potential transformation of the group – driving growth through a wide range of levers and capturing cost reduction and operational efficiency improvement opportunities
- Setting up and guiding a Transformation Office that will serve as the nucleus for managing the portfolio initiatives
- Maximising the value captured from the commercial and operational performance improvements
- Acting in a “challenge and support” role vis-à-vis the initiative owners, helping them deliver the targeted results
- Managing the change programme and diffusing any potential challenges to the plan quickly and effectively
-Tracking of the performance of the Transformation plan in real time and making necessary adjustments along the way to realise medium and long term performance improvements
- Playing a major role in the organisational and culture change management, facilitating and leading effective, clear and timely communication across the entire organisation and with relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Providing support to Finance, HR, Operations, Commercial and IT leaders, enabling them to build and lead capable, dynamic, results driven functions
- Understanding the inherent value in the business and helping the company’s leadership team maintain value-creation focus at all times moving to increase general business planning as the role matures
- Playing a leading role in supporting the business through the exit process
REQUIREMENTS:
- Senior level industry experience working in multisite leisure, hospitality, retail or consumer services sectors
- Experience delivering against ambitious value creation agendas, ideally including elements of; i) operational transformation/excellence; ii) commercial excellence/channel strategy/pricing; iii) procurement/sourcing; iv) product development/product launch; v) other multi-site restaurant/retail initiatives
- Demonstrable track record of driving the change agenda within PE owned businesses and achieving substantial EBITDA growth and cash impact through transformation
-Track record of operating at a senior level within organisations delivering against a substantial change agenda, which has led to increased pace, accountability, drive and focus
- Commercial mindset with a proven ability to deliver bottom line growth
- A self-starter, with strong problem-solving and execution skills
- Attentive, hands-on, and willing to get into the details of the organisation
- Results orientated with the ability to make things happen quickly
- Posses personal drive, high-energy and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with lean corporate infrastructure
