Our client is a leading pharma company with a strong presence in APAC.
RESPONSIBILTIES INCLUDED:
  • Develop and execute M&A strategy to pursue new business opportunities, influence the direction of the business and enhance future partnerships opportunities.
  • Manage the identification and pursuit of opportunities that align with Company strategy, including the proactive sourcing of new products and partners.
  • Determine value and rationale for targeting new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate and successfully lead cross functional teams, work with BD team to support the execution of subsequent parts of the deal process.
  • Prepare and present business cases to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • In close collaboration, identify opportunities for local/regional partnerships to accelerate growth/ maximize launch uptake
  • Understand unmet customer and market needs, and use these insights to identify potential new business opportunities in M&A.
  • Manage the regional M&A team including staffing, hiring, training and individual development plan based on current and future business needs while forming a collaborative, passionate and high-performing team culture.
  • Develop M&A capability trainings to further development of self and team members

REQUIREMENTS:  
  • 15 – 20 years experience
  • Strong corporate finance, investment banking experience in focus on healthcare/pharma
  • Healthcare background with strategic mindset with the ability to assimilate complex commercial data
  • Ability to strategize abd create business cases for new targets including forecasting, financial modelling, resourcing, analytics and market overview
  • Experience with regional business development
  • Excellent internal and external stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in cross-functional, cross-culture or cross-geography preferred
