Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategy & Transformation Director to join our team in Sydney. This role is pivotal to the company's transformation agenda, driving Go-To-Market strategy that aligns with our growth objectives and seeing through end-to-end to execution. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in management consulting, coupled with deep expertise in the industrials or manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of the company’s strategic plan, including identifying growth opportunities, market trends, and operational improvements.
- Drive large-scale transformation initiatives, including process optimisation, digital transformation, and operational excellence programs.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership, private equity partners, and cross-functional teams to align on strategy and implementation plans.
- Oversee the planning, execution, and tracking of strategic projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and meeting business objectives.
- Analyse business performance data to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable insights to enhance operational efficiency.
- Champion change management efforts, ensuring successful adoption of new processes, technologies, and cultural shifts across the organisation.
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions, including mergers and acquisitions, market entry, and product development opportunities.
Key Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in strategy, transformation, or management consulting, ideally coupled with operating experience within the industrials & manufacturing industry
- Proven track record of leading successful transformation initiatives within complex, fast-paced environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesise data and develop actionable insights.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organisation.
- Experience working in a private equity-owned environment is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or a related field; an MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
- Highly adaptable, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a dynamic, evolving business setting.
