Position Overview:
As the Chief Transformation Officer specializing in Ecommerce within the luxury consumer and retail sector, you will be responsible for leading the digital transformation of our business to optimize online sales channels and enhance the overall customer experience. This role demands a visionary leader with a proven track record of driving ecommerce growth, preferably within the luxury industry, and experience working across international markets, particularly in APAC, Europe, or the USA.
Key Responsibilities:
Ecommerce Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive ecommerce strategy aligned with the company's overall objectives, focusing on revenue growth, customer acquisition, and retention.
Digital Innovation: Identify emerging trends and technologies to innovate our online platforms and enhance the digital customer journey, ensuring our brand remains at the forefront of the industry.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with internal teams including Marketing, Sales, IT, and Operations to align ecommerce initiatives with broader business objectives and ensure seamless integration across departments.
International Expansion: Drive international expansion efforts, leveraging your experience in APAC, Europe, or the USA to capitalize on market opportunities and adapt ecommerce strategies to local preferences and regulations.
Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and analyze ecommerce performance metrics, leveraging data-driven insights to identify areas for improvement and optimize conversion rates, average order value, and other key KPIs.
Partnership Management: Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with key ecommerce platforms, technology vendors, and service providers to enhance our online capabilities and drive growth.
Change Management: Lead organizational change efforts to ensure buy-in and alignment with the ecommerce transformation agenda, fostering a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement.
Team Leadership: Build and develop a high-performing ecommerce team, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to foster professional growth and drive results.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
Minimum of 12 years of experience, ideally with management consulting background coupled with relevant industry experience.
Proven track record of successfully driving ecommerce growth within the luxury consumer and retail sector.
Extensive international experience, with a strong understanding of ecommerce dynamics in APAC, Europe, or the USA. Experience working in Australia is a plus.
Strategic thinker with exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of inspiring and influencing cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights to inform ecommerce strategy and decision-making.
Experience working in a Private Equity-backed environment is a plus.
