We are working with the global Investment Bank of a leading Tier 1 Universal Bank, currently going through a period of stable growth as they expand across multiple global markets. Our client has posted strong results throughout 2018, stemming from global growth and emerging markets in particular, even as a lot competitors across the market are shrinking their Investment Banking divisions.
This bank has a strong track record of taking in top tier strategic talent and promoting them across the wider business into positions of P&L responsibility.
This role will be joining the leadership team of the global Investment Bank’s core strategy function, which overlooks the entire global strategy decision making of the corporate banking and markets division. This team reports directly into the leadership team for the Investment Bank and focuses on the biggest strategic questions affecting the business, such as building the growth strategy in Asia and expanding further in emerging markets.
This is one of the highest caliber strategy teams in the UK, made up of top tier ex-consultants and led by an ex-McKinsey Partner, who you will be reporting directly into.
- Experience leading and managing strategy projects in a top tier consulting or corporate strategy background.
- Excellent stakeholder management experience essential with corresponding excellent communication and influencing skills observable.
- Excellent knowledge around financial services, especially corporate banking and markets.
