Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Mergers and Acquisitions to lead our corporate development initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in finance, strategy, and deal execution, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex M&A transactions.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the company's M&A strategy in alignment with overall business objectives and growth targets.
  • Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets, conducting thorough financial and strategic analysis to assess fit and feasibility.
  • Lead cross-functional deal teams throughout the entire M&A process, from initial due diligence to post-merger integration.
  • Negotiate and structure M&A transactions, including purchase agreements, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships, to maximize value and minimize risk.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to gain alignment on strategic priorities and secure approval for proposed transactions.
  • Manage relationships with external advisors, including investment bankers, legal counsel, and valuation experts, to support deal execution.
  • Drive integration planning and execution efforts to ensure seamless transition and realization of synergies post-acquisition.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and market opportunities to identify potential acquisition targets and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Provide regular updates and presentations to executive management and the board of directors on M&A pipeline, progress, and performance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions.
  • Proven track record of leading and closing complex M&A transactions across various industries and geographies.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset, able to prioritize and execute multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability, with experience managing and mentoring teams to deliver exceptional performance.
  • Deep understanding of legal, regulatory, and compliance considerations related to M&A transactions.
