Role Description:
As an Interim Data Consultant (Tableau), you will play a pivotal role in our clients' organisation, working closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to transform complex data into meaningful visualisations and actionable insights. Your expertise in data visualisation using Tableau will be instrumental in analysing and presenting key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics that will help guide our strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Create visually impressive and informative data visualisations using Tableau to communicate complex data insights to various non-technical stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs and financial metrics dashboards, allowing the leadership team to make informed decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to understand data requirements and provide actionable insights to drive financial strategies.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather data, analyse trends, and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Actively participate in data governance and data quality initiatives to ensure accuracy and reliability of data visualisations.
  • Contribute to the development of their data visualisation best practices and standards.
  • Play a vital role in the data warehouse team, offering insights and recommendations to enhance data modelling and architecture.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a data visualisation specialist, utilising Tableau to create impactful dashboards and reports.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Expertise in designing and developing interactive data visualisations that cater to different audience needs.
  • Solid understanding of KPIs, financial metrics, and their significance in driving business decisions.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Prior experience working closely with CFOs or finance teams is a plus.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and data modelling.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science) or equivalent experience.
  • Candidate must have contracting experience
  • This is a hybrid work arrangement, offering flexibility for you to work both remotely and on-site in our modern London office.
