Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the firm's ESG strategy, including policies, procedures, and best practices that align with industry standards and investor expectations.
Work with the investment team to assess ESG risks and opportunities across all stages of the investment process, from due diligence to exit.
Lead the integration of ESG considerations into the firm's investment decision-making process.
Advise portfolio companies on ESG best practices and identify opportunities to enhance ESG performance.
Monitor and report on portfolio companies' ESG performance and progress, and work with management teams to address any areas of concern.
Collaborate with the firm's investor relations team to develop and deliver ESG-related reporting and communication to stakeholders.
Stay up to date with industry trends and developments in ESG and leverage this knowledge to inform the firm's ESG strategy and approach.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, environmental science, social sciences, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, or a related field.
Strong understanding of ESG principles, standards, and frameworks.
Experience in private equity, investment banking or a related field.
Proven ability to develop and implement ESG strategies, policies, and procedures.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and experience working with senior management teams and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of initiative and self-motivation.
Fluency in English and an Asian language.
