OUR CLIENT
Our client consultancy is building its Integration & Separation advisory capability and have permanent opportunities at Associate Director and Director level. They work closely with Corporate and Private Equity clients, and many well-known brands and businesses across the world, on their complex acquisitions and disposals in the pre- and post-deal space. This is a B Corp certified consultancy.
THE ROLE
In this role you will be expected to advise clients on their deal strategy, tactics, and risk in the broader context of their business, as well as independently deliver medium end to end engagements in an agreed timescale/budget to a quality standard. Proactively be involved in managing the client team and internal team – pulling everyone together whilst developing the client relationship and managing expectations. You will also act as key client contact and demonstrate credibility to resolve difficult issues. And actively on-sell on projects and lead proposals/pitch developments for the clients.
REQUIREMENTS
  • 7+ years of experience working on integration and/or separation projects across the deal cycle.
  • Value creation: Understand how you create a more efficient business for the future.
  • Strong verbal and analytical capabilities, with the capacity absorb, make sense of and analyse lots of information.
  • Versatile interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to different client situations and to develop and strengthen long-term client relationships.
  • Experience in an M&A setting either in industry or consulting.
  • Exposure to a range of different industries (preferably are looking for Energy, Industrial, Consumer and Life Sciences industry knowledge.)
  • A team player who is willing to work as part of a broader deal team i.e. where financial and functional specialists come together to operate as one team.
  • Ability to guide and lead teams (internal and client)
