RESPONSIBILITES
  • Build strong relationships and serve as a strategic advisor and an M&A liaison to the C-Suite.
  • Collaborate across the Region to develop a robust acquisition pipeline and portfolio strategy aligned to overall strategic objective. Help to assess and prioritize M&A transactions.
  • Identify industry trends, draw conclusions from various sources to make recommendations that contribute to the success of the Company’s inorganic growth initiatives.
  • Drive a robust process to identify, evaluate and screen ideas to bring about quality acquisition and investment ideas that are aligned with our client’s growth strategy.
  • Build sector expertise, develop an in-depth awareness of the competition as well as market opportunities across the region.
  • Manage and continue to enhance the Group’s external network and relationships with Investment Banks, Private Equity, Venture Capital firms and Strategic Partners.
  • Lead all aspects of transaction execution including project management, due diligence and valuation, negotiation, documentation. Work closely with business teams, internal functional experts (e.g. legal, accounting, tax, etc.), and outside advisors to support execution.
  • Be responsible for creation of presentation materials to communicate plans, findings, and recommendations to Region / Senior Leadership and the Board of Directors.
  • Viewed across the Region as the go-to-person for M&A and help shape and achieve the Region’s inorganic goals and objectives.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 10 + years of corporate development, private equity, venture capital, investment banking or top-tier strategy consulting experience with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Strong financial, analytical rigor, and problem-solving skills that can be leveraged for uncovering quick and meaningful solutions to ensure speed of execution and quality are not compromised
  • Effective in leading, influencing, motivating, and achieving goals through formal and informal channels. Ability to build relationships and establish trust quickly and encourage collaboration
  • Able to structure and manage complex cross-enterprise projects and/or process with multiple stakeholders of varying seniority
  • Ability to effectively plan, prioritize, execute and follow-up in a timely manner and anticipate problems and roadblocks. Brings an agile and continuous improvement mindset to M&A.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities given aggressive timelines; comfortable performing in a fast paced, dynamic environment, managing both internal and external resources; flexibility to manage projects across time zones and adapt certain approaches to different cultures and working styles.
