Technology Director

​$5B NYC-based Private Equity Fund seeks Technology Director on their value-creation team to drive technology improvements and innovation across the portfolio.

ROLE:

We are recruiting for a mid-level executive for a NYC-based PE firm's Value Creation Team. They are looking for a strong leader with deep experience in technology and operations. The role will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and recommending value-driven technology and product opportunities for the fund’s portfolio companies interfacing regularly with the senior leadership across the portfolio companies and the PE firm itself. The ideal applicant will have at least four years of relevant expertise in management consulting, and ideally two years of industry experience, and exposure to PE clients before with a spike in digital transformations and technology.

REQUIREMENTS:

· 7-10 years of total experience across consulting, strategy, and/or technology & product development.

· Looking for a general athlete – post consulting with spikes in technology transformation, cloud systems, process automation, architecture, product development, etc.

· Need experience managing large-scale transformation and stakeholder management.

· Track record of technology diligence, understanding what can be automated, and implemented, how technology impacts the broader business, etc.

· Coachable and questioning attitude, process-oriented, an ability to flourish in fast-paced environment, have good judgment and be able to do the analysis.

· Experience post-consulting at a Private Equity fund or portfolio company is a benefit.

· Broad Knowledge of multiple different cloud systems, CRMs, ERPs, data models, databases, etc.

· Personality: Honesty/Integrity, Aggressiveness, Hands-on, collaborative, high work ethic, non-reactionary, down to earth, humble.

· MBA required.

· Location: Onsite in NYC

· Will require travel.
