Position Overview
As the Payments Processing Lead, you will play a pivotal role in streamlining and driving the payments processing function within our organisation. This strategic position demands a unique blend of expertise in payments technology, strategy / consulting, and design thinking. The ideal candidate will lead the development and implementation of cutting-edge payment strategies while ensuring seamless integration with our companies' corporate services.
Responsibilities
1. Strategic Payments Leadership
Develop and execute innovative payment processing strategies aligned with industry best practices and business objectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and in-country leaders to assess, design, and implement payment solutions that enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
2. Management Consulting Expertise
Utilize management consulting methodologies to analyse current payment processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategic changes.
Provide strategic guidance to stakeholders, leveraging your expertise in payments to drive value and efficiency.
3. Design Thinking Integration
Apply design thinking principles to create user-centric payment experiences for both clients and internal stakeholders.
Champion a customer-focused approach, ensuring that payment solutions align with end-users' needs and expectations.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with IT, finance, operations, and other departments to ensure seamless integration of payment solutions into existing systems.
Work closely with company leaders to understand their specific payment processing requirements and tailor solutions accordingly.
5. Regulatory Compliance
Stay abreast of industry regulations and compliance requirements related to payments processing.
Implement and monitor compliance measures to ensure adherence to relevant standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Proven experience in payments processing with a focus on strategy and design.
Extensive background in management consulting with a track record of successful project delivery.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically.
Experience in implementing and managing payment solutions in a complex business environment.
