OVERVIEW:A leading global consulting firm that provides expert services and advice to clients facing complex challenges. They offer a wide range of solutions in areas such as economics and finance, healthcare, investigations and disputes, and strategy and operations. Their clients include major corporations, law firms, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations. They are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Managing Director of Forensic Accounting to lead the Forensic Accounting practice. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing complex forensic accounting engagements, building and developing teams, and cultivating client relationships.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide leadership and direction to the Forensic Accounting practice, including managing teams, overseeing engagements, and ensuring quality work product
Build and maintain client relationships, and identify and pursue new business opportunities
Manage the financial performance of the practice, including revenue, profitability, and utilization rates
Develop and implement strategies for growth and expansion of the practice, in collaboration with other leaders
Provide expert testimony and opinions in legal and regulatory proceedings
Participate in thought leadership activities, including writing articles, speaking at conferences, and contributing to the development of intellectual capital
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or related field; CPA required
Minimum of 15 years of experience in forensic accounting, investigations, or litigation support, including experience as an expert witness
Strong leadership and team management skills, including experience building and developing teams
Demonstrated ability to generate revenue and develop new business
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and strategically
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Willingness to travel as needed
