OVERVIEW:The ideal candidate will provide leadership and expertise in the Life Sciences practice. This individual will work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide expert guidance on various issues, including commercial strategy, market access, pricing and reimbursement, and clinical development. This candidate will also be responsible for contributing to the practice's growth and development and supporting team members' professional development.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide leadership and expertise in the Life Sciences practice, including contributing to the strategic direction of the practice.
Develop and maintain relationships with clients in the life sciences industry, including pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device companies.
Provide expert guidance to clients on various issues, including commercial strategy, market access, pricing and reimbursement, and clinical development.
Work closely with other teams within the firm to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
Stay up to date on industry trends and developments and provide thought leadership to clients and colleagues.
Manage projects to ensure they are delivered on time, on budget, and meet client expectations.
Contribute to business development efforts, including proposal writing and presenting to prospective clients.
Support the professional development of team members, including providing mentorship and coaching.
REQUIREMENTS:
Advanced degree in a relevant field, such as life sciences, business, economics, or public health.
15+ years of experience in the life sciences industry, including consulting, pharmaceuticals, biotech, or medical devices.
Demonstrated expertise in commercial strategy, market access, pricing and reimbursement, and clinical development.
Strong leadership and management skills, with experience managing teams of consultants.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to various audiences.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across the firm.
Willingness to travel as needed.
