This is a newly created position at a highly reputable multi-national manufacturing business that has enjoyed years of sustainable growth and profitability. Part of their long-term strategy is to grow their global presence and as a result, have been actively engaged in M&A activity. In anticipation of this, they require a seasoned veteran to join them as the Head of Financial Systems & Integration.
Responsibilities:
Report to the Group CFO leading the Project Management’s Office (PMO) with visibility to the senior leadership team
Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategy for system integration initiatives aligned with the organization's goals
Leadership and Strategy- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of professionals responsible for financial systems implementation, and collaborate with senior management to define priorities, resource allocation, and timelines for system integration projects.
Financial Systems Management- oversee the implementation, consolidation, and optimization of financial systems, ensuring they meet the organization's requirements for accuracy, reliability, and scalability
Integration and Process Improvement- lead efforts to integrate financial systems with other business systems to streamline processes and improve data integrity, identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
Compliance and Risk Management- ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements, implement controls and to safeguard data and mitigate risks
Stakeholder Engagement- communicate regularly with executive leadership and other stakeholders on the progress, challenges, and impact of system-related initiatives, partnering with PMO and cross-functional/cross-market leaders to ensure delivery, and sharing best practices across the organization
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or related discipline
Ideally professional designation as Qualified Accountant / Project Management Professional
A minimum of 12 years experience in system implementation, consolidation and integration with track record in driving business transformation projects
Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is a plus
Prior experience in industrial / manufacturing businesses with complex production processes is advantageous
In-depth knowledge of financial systems and other large well-known reporting tools, ie – Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, etc.
Proven stakeholder management abilities and running a PMO, collaborating with functional and market leaders across the organization
Strong understanding of financial processes, controls, and regulations, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
