They are currently looking for a Corporate Development Associate / Assistant Vice President to be based in Hong Kong, who will play a crucial role in identifying and evaluating strategic opportunities, conducting market research, and supporting M&A activities. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze potential investments, develop financial models, and provide strategic insights to senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities.
Assist in the evaluation of M&A transactions, including financial modeling, due diligence, and valuation analysis.
Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and other materials for senior management and external stakeholders.
Support the negotiation and execution of deals, including deal structuring and documentation.
Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory developments to inform investment decisions.
Collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to ensure successful deal execution and integration.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CFA is a plus.
3-6 years of experience in investment banking (FIG / TMT / Healthcare)
Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial analysis tools.
Excellent analytical abilities, with the ability to interpret complex data and draw meaningful insights.
Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
