As part of a wider strategic review to optimise its business performance, Williams Lea Tag (WLT) - a global, UK-headquartered business services provider – identified an opportunity to segregate a part of their enterprise delivering outsourced customer communications management services to create a standalone entity that could then be sold.
There was previously no ring-fenced legal entity; no clearly defined P&L (revenues of £50m and loss making); and services were shared with other parts of the wider group.
