The Barton Partnership completes the Three Peaks Challenge

A huge congratulations to our team for completing the Three Peaks Challenge last week. The Three Peaks is a daunting test of endurance and determination, split across three stages, with a total ascent of 3064 metres (9,843ft) and a distance of 26 miles (42km). 

The team headed to Fort William before trekking to the summit of the first (and highest) peak, Ben Nevis. They then set off to the Lake District to conquer Scafell Pike by night. The final ascent took place in Snowdonia National Park, completing the third and final hurdle; Snowdon! 

The 18-strong group successfully walked 26 miles, climbed 3,064 metres and raised over £25,000 in support of: Oscar's Wish Foundation,The Road Victims Trust,THE ARSENAL FOUNDATION,Refugee Council,The Brain Tumour Charity, The RDC Foundation, Macmillan Cancer Support,Cancer Research UK (CRUK),Dorset Mind,Marie Curie UK,Alzheimer's Society,Children with Cancer UK,GAIN Charity,Acton Homeless Concernand The Fragile X Society
