A leading European Growth & Buyout Private Equity Fund specialising in the healthcare sector, is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as a Value Creation Lead for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. Position Overview:
As the Value Creation Lead for APAC, you will play a pivotal role in driving value enhancement strategies across the portfolio companies in the healthcare sector. Working closely with executive teams and stakeholders, you will leverage your expertise to identify and implement operational improvements, strategic initiatives, and growth opportunities, ultimately maximising returns for the investors.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Portfolio Optimisation:
    • Collaborate with portfolio company leadership to assess operational efficiencies and identify areas for improvement.
    • Develop and execute value creation plans tailored to each portfolio company, focusing on revenue growth, cost optimisation, and margin expansion.
  2. Strategic Initiatives:
    • Lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives that align with the overall business objectives and market trends in the APAC healthcare sector.
    • Provide strategic guidance and support to portfolio company executives to ensure successful implementation.
  3. Operational Excellence:
    • Implement best practices and operational excellence initiatives to enhance productivity, streamline processes, and improve overall business performance.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address operational challenges and drive continuous improvement.
  4. Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes in the APAC healthcare sector.
    • Identify new market opportunities, partnerships, and potential acquisitions to further strengthen the portfolio.
  5. Stakeholder Management:
    • Foster strong relationships with portfolio company executives, internal teams, and external partners to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to portfolio company leadership, providing guidance on value creation strategies.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within private equity, consulting, or strategic management in industry, with a focus on the healthcare sector in the APAC region.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and industry trends.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing value creation strategies for portfolio companies.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Experience in at least 2 of the core markets in APAC – South Asia, ANZ, SEA, Greater China and Japan / Korea
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly desirable.
