The client is building a platform across the EU and is now launching it on the French market.
The client needs a solid M&A Leader and future Managing director to scale and grow the project and lead the deals pipeline and integration/structuration/execution (from the sourcing stage (market expert/entrepreneur all the way to the SPA’s negotiations and closing).
They need an independent M&A leader and entrepreneur to co-founder/MD permanent role in a fast healthcare build-up, in order to lead and take the current pipe and execute the deals with both the fund and the market expert/entrepreneur to accelerate the build-up, improve the reporting to the current CEO (global entity in the UK) and take a full-time role later (Managing Director France, M&A director and co-founder) to grow the business rapidly with effective investment cycle and successful integrations.
- Proven operationally driven and entrepreneurial leader, with multi-site business launch experiences, scaling, and successful growth track record (ideally in the retail-healthcare services field). Requires starting-from-scratch experience, growth by closing and integration of multiple acquisitions rapidly, either greenfield or from an existing group’s subsidiary.
- Combined experience with strong M&A end-to-end deals experience (8-10 deals) including at least 2-3 years M&A role in corporate dev or PE (small PE fund context nice to have) across the entire deal lifecycle (deal structuration and execution and integration including legal and financial DD, SPA negotiation). Must have handled in the past small deals in imperfect settings/entrepreneurial environments and be at ease with it (though it is not expected to ultimately deliver everything by hand).
- Very strong entrepreneurial mindset and open to support a greenfield FR build-up (UK HQ, with other EU build-ups) interim, aiming to take a full-time role in the project later which is designed to lead to MD/co-founder role.
