COMPANY:

One of the leading international food businesses has recently been acquired by one of the leading, large-cap, international private equity firms. Having already seen major growth via acquisition (with recent acquisitions forming a new meat snacks division) and with significant further capital investment, our client is about to embark on a period of considerable change and transformation. In support of their ambitious transformation program (~£20M in value over 3 years), they seek to bring on-board a new, heavy-weight Head of Transformation.

ROLE:

As Head of Transformation, reporting to the Board and as senior right-hand to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for leading the ambitious transformation program consisting of several projects to deliver a material change in EBITDA. It will be your sole purpose to make sure you are pushing initiatives forward and delivering £20M in value over the next 3 years.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 8-10+ years’ experience with career inclusive of Consulting to Manager or Principal level

Ideally a mix of strategy consulting and in-house transformation or operations experience within an adjacent manufacturing, consumer goods or food retail environment however, pure strategy consulting will be considered

Strategic muscle, with demonstrated “at pace” execution orientation and resilient mindset

PMO / Transformation experience is a must-have – this can be within a consulting project, but should be as a PMO / TMO leading a project, not a consultant on the team

Proven transformation delivery experience, with measurable impact

Strong relationship builder, persuasive communicator, coupled with the gravitas to hold senior colleagues to account to ensure on time delivery

Proactive in anticipating, identifying, and troubleshooting challenges with creative solutions

Currently based, willing to relocate (Manchester, Leeds, York) or willingness to travel 2-3 days to the North of the UK – multi-site operations

Experience working or leading on post-merger integration programmes is not essential but highly valuable

Supply Chain / Footprint optimisation experience not essential but preferable

Whilst highly admired, it is not essential to have prior PMO or Transformation Leadership and direct line management experience
