Head of Group Strategy

COMPANY: 

Our client is an international business group who builds and invests in industry leading businesses in healthcare and financial services. They are looking for a Head of Group Strategy in Singapore to craft their investment strategy.

ROLE: 

You will be actively involved in the business division, where you will help to manage and expand our client’s portfolio of control positions in private businesses. You will work closely with senior leadership on strategy, M&A and investment analysis, and you will engage with portfolio companies on business building, strategy and innovation, capital allocation and general management.

REQUIREMENTS: 

The successful candidate will have:

• Strategy experience within an elite private equity group, top-tier management consulting firm, blue-chip corporate or similar qualification

• Exceptional relational skills, able to represent the company well when interacting with operating companies or other external parties

• Passion for financial markets, investments and business

• International business background, able to work easily across cultures and geographies

• Strong leadership skills

• Good communication skills and be very well spoken

• Polished and professional appearance

• Ability to work at speed, and multi-task

• Positive attitude, be an “energizer”

• Meticulous attention to detail and numbers

• Ideally with a top tier MBA

• Hunger to learn – you will be given the opportunity to do work far beyond the scope of a traditional private equity role
