My Client are a Govt Advisory firm based in Dubai. They help governments in the Gulf and beyond to develop, lead and deliver positive programmes that successfully promote their global interests. Their clients are government organisations and their leaders, including centre-of-government entities, ministries, authorities, agencies and state-owned enterprises.

A unique opportunity has arisen to join their new business team as Chief Proposal Writer. This is a new role designed to meet the needs of their expanding new business pipeline, which has fuelled the consultancy’s significant growth in the past 12 months.
They are seeking an individual with a background in new business development and with a deep understanding of communications, policy and strategy to lead the development of the new business collateral required to progress and convert a variety of leads across our sectors, geographies and disciplines.
Typically, the chief proposal writer would lead multiple new business bids, often with competing deadlines. These include developing and project managing full technical and commercial responses to incoming RfPs; building detailed scopes of works for new projects; and developing creative and persuasive presentations for in-person pitches.
This individual will be required to work internally across the business and with colleagues at all levels to assemble and lead project teams required to deliver every aspect of new business collateral. The role will also involve delivery feedback to colleagues, both peers and those more junior.
This individual must have the ability to think strategically and creatively to deliver innovative responses to a variety of briefs, accompanied with an appetite for detail and the ability to make sense of complex information. They must be able to lead projects and people, building string relationships across the business.
The role is based in London but the role will involve handling projects in the Gulf and beyond, in support of their ongoing global expansion.
