My client, a globally renowned brand in the hospitality industry is looking for a Manager, Sustainability (ESG) to support the ESG Division at Headquarters. This role reports to the Assistant Vice President, Sustainability (ESG).
As a Manager, Sustainability (ESG), we rely on you to:
Spearhead and manage social-related initiatives, e.g., responsible sourcing, human rights, community investment, traditional arts and culture preservation
Lead in social-related ESG metrics design and reporting, including but not limited to staff wellbeing and injury, responsible sourcing, customer well-being, sustainable and healthy food
Assist in communication of ESG vision and strategy both internally and externally
Work collaboratively and constructively with internal stakeholders to turn strategies and targets into action plans
Be familiar and to partner with external stakeholders such as regulators or industry/professional bodies to ensure compliance and best practices of the Company
We are looking for someone who has:
Bachelor’s in Management, Communications or other generalist; experience in Environmental Management, Sustainability, social audit or equivalent field a plus
Minimum 5 years of work experience in ESG-related disciplines and industries
Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) and stakeholder management skills. Proficient in spoken and written English and Putonghua; Cantonese a plus
Excellent analytical skills with critical thinking
Experience in community investment activities, responsible sourcing, DE&I, etc., a plus
Strong entrepreneurial spirit and an excellent collaborator; ability to motivate cross-functional team members
Passionate about Doing Good and making a positive impact for the environment and the communities in which we operate in
