About the Role:
The Barton Partnership (TBP) is a multi-award winning International Executive Search and Consulting business. As TBP continues its strong growth, we are commencing with the recruitment of an Associate across our Private Equity and Permanent team in London, to start with us in the New Year.
Associates play a vital role providing a world class service to our candidates and clients in all the countries and markets in which we operate.
Associates take part in a robust onboarding and development program to ensure they are well equipped to work collaboratively and effectively with a range of colleagues, and personally develop a successful career in recruitment.
What you will do:
  • Engage with and cultivate a candidate network – developing your own personal brand and reputation within your market.
  • Support colleagues with the research and execution of projects mandated by clients – taking ownership at critical stages of the process.
  • Identify, approach, and engage with candidates for specific requirements using a range of research tools and methodologies.
  • Keep up to date with market trends and developments. Updating relevant team members when appropriate.
  • Update and ensure proper use of company CRM systems.
  • Develop and execute on a range of talent attraction strategies.
  • Build and develop your own career in recruitment benefiting from training and development opportunities which allow you to progress within our business, either along a research career path or into a fee earning capacity
Basic qualifications:
  • Experience of working in a full-time role, preferably within the recruitment or adjacent industry.
  • Professional approach to work and a self-starter.
  • Exemplary communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A competitive streak to your personality.
  • Natural curiosity and willingness to learn from experienced colleagues.
  • Strong desire to build a career in recruitment with some knowledge of the industry.
  • Ability to deliver on numerous tasks at any one time and prioritise effectively.
  • Availability to start in January 2023.
  • The appropriate authorisation to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
