ROLE: The Managing Director will be responsible for managing the overall performance within the Energy Transition Practice, developing and executing strategies to drive growth, and ensuring exceptional client service delivery. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the energy industry and be able to provide deep expertise and insights to clients.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Be a Leader in the Energy Transition Practice, including setting strategic direction, driving growth, and managing the practice’s overall performance.
  • Ensure the Energy Transition Practice meets revenue, utilization, and profitability targets.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to expand service offerings, increase market share, and grow revenue.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including developing and managing relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the industry.
  • Provide expert advice and insights to clients on various energy-related topics, including renewable energy, power generation, energy storage, and regulatory matters.
  • Manage and mentor a team of consultants, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with other practices and experts to deliver integrated solutions to clients.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in the energy industry, focusing on consulting or advisory services.
  • Proven track record of managing a successful energy consulting practice, driving growth, and developing new business opportunities.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading teams of consultants and managing complex projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Deep knowledge of the energy industry, including trends, regulatory frameworks, and emerging technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and deliver innovative solutions to clients.
