Based on an extensive survey of over 1500 consultants and industry professionals, this report offers a comprehensive overview of salaries, bonuses and incentives whilst highlighting perspectives on compensation satisfaction and motivations for career transitions.
This year's report explores the factors driving resignations and the varying priorities between male and female respondents. Additionally, we've examined the efficacy of Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives and their impact on job satisfaction and role considerations.
Key findings:
Compensation packages and marketperception:Respondents inindustry reported salary and bonus growth across all functional specialisms,and74% consider their compensation to be at or above market average.
Retention challenges: 41%of respondents in industry expect to move companies in the next 12 months.
Transitioning from consulting to industry: Consultants primarily move to industry for a better work/life balance, new challenges, and greater accountability.
Attracting talent and motivating factors by gender: Financial reward and career progression are the most highly rated factors for male and female respondents (respectively) when considering a move.
