We are excited to share that The Barton Partnership has been certified by Best Companies 2022 with a 2-star accreditation, recognising the business as an 'outstanding' place to work, and ranking in all 3 Best Companies league tables:

  • #5 in London's best small companies to work for

  • #11 in Recruitment's best companies to work for

  • #18 is the UK's best small companies to work for

Best Companies is the leading expert on workplace and employee engagement. Since 2006, it has worked with organisations to measure and recognise excellence using its robust methodology, evaluating eight key aspects of workplace engagement, including wellbeing, leadership and giving back. This 2-star award – achieved in our first year taking part in the survey – recognises outstanding levels of engagement based on an anonymous survey completed by our global teams.

Speaking on the recognition, Founder & CEO Nicholas Barton commented: "I am delighted that we have been awarded 2-star accreditation. I founded The Barton Partnership with an ambition to become the leading search firm in our markets, recognised for excellent customer service and driven by our values – Human, Aware, Committed. Crucial to realising this success has been significant employee engagement at all levels leading to a high-performance culture. Our people are the driving force behind our unique culture and are central to the growth and success of the business. This recognition is a testament to the continued efforts of everyone across the business globally who make TBP such a fantastic place to work. I couldn't be prouder."

This accreditation follows a year of significant growth for the business, celebrating four consecutive record-breaking quarters across every business unit in London, New York, Paris, and Singapore. We opened new offices in Hong Kong and Chicago and grew headcount by more than 30%.

During the pandemic, we remained focussed on our people, prioritising engagement and connection across the business, whilst launching a number of health and wellbeing initiatives and improving flexibility and remote working practices. We launched a best-in-class training programme and invested in the best tools and technologies to set our teams up for success.
