We have been mandated to find a Strategy Director, International Region for one of the world’s largest premium spirits companies, which is currently going through a period of significant growth. Our client offers a dynamic portfolio with unparalleled expertise in whisky, bourbon, premium malts, cognac, gin and other white spirits.


Reporting directly into the President, International Region, you will be managing a small team of Business Analysts and be responsible for leading the International Region’s Strategic Plan along with a range of high-profile, cross-regional efforts that support the development and implementation of the Region’s Commercial and Routes-To-Market Development strategies. The role will touch upon all aspects of the business: growth, RTM development, cost optimization, organizational structure, acquisitions/divestitures, effectiveness & efficiency initiatives and partnership to maximize the performance of the portfolio.

The International Region Team - exclusive of the Americas - is composed of six BUs: Emerging and Developing Europe, India, Emerging Asia, Oceania, Japan (only spirits) and Global Travel Retailers.

The role will give you a particularly strong exposure to the President, International Region, and to the Managing Directors of the International BUs.  Equally, the role will partner with the International Leadership Team (VP level and higher), as well as all the functional leaders of Marketing, Finance, HR, Supply Chain.


- c. 8 -10 years’ total professional experience

- Top-tier strategy consulting experience + relevant experience across the FMCG space

- Experience working on projects across different countries, ideally including emerging markets

- Experience working in a highly matrixed environment

- Willingness to travel up to 35% in EMEA and Asia
