We are acting on behalf of a market leading Financial Services Institution. This organization has been growing successfully for the last three years and is now ready to enter a new phase of growth.

This role will be to lead the Insurance Division Transformation team. The Insurance division has been performing strongly for several years and is looking for opportunities for further growth. This is an opportunity to join a strongly performing team that has been a key factor in the banks sustained growth.




The Director of Transformation will be responsible for leading the Transformation across all areas of the Bank’s Insurance products as well as working on special group products right across the Bank, providing significant exposure to other business areas. The individual will drive thought leadership, harnessing insight and market trends to define strategic goals and investment priorities.

This role will be essentially leading the Transformation team for the Insurance Division and will be responsible for managing a team of around 30 individuals running multiple projects on a divisional and group level simultaneously.

The role will report directly into the Head of Business Development for the Insurance division and then on to the ExCo. The holder of this position will need to have the gravitas and stakeholder management experience to be able to face off against the CEO and represent the interests of the Insurance Division to the most senior stakeholders across the business with the idea of stepping up into the MD position in as short as 2 years’ time.




  • 6+ years of relevant experience, ideally with a strategy consulting background or time within a financial services corporate environment

  • Experience or knowledge across the Financial Services sector, direct Insurance experience is not a prerequisite

  • Strong stakeholder management experience is essential as this role will have a lot of direct exposure to the ExCo and senior management.

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills observable
